Keran works closely with participants, their families, and other relevant stakeholders to provide practical, person-centred support. By taking the time to understand each individual’s goals and needs, Keran encourages participants to try new experiences, develop new skills, and achieve meaningful outcomes while feeling respected and supported throughout their journey with DFS.
Keran is a support worker for DFS who is based in Wollongong. Originally from outside the local area, Keran now calls the Illawarra home and values being part of the local community.
With several years of experience across the aged care and disability sectors, Keran has supported a wide variety of participants both in their homes and throughout the community. Their experience includes assisting with domestic tasks, cleaning, community access, appointments, shopping, and daily living activities.
Keran is passionate about supporting people who require assistance and enjoys building positive relationships with each participant. They apply a respectful and approachable style throughout their supports, striving to treat every individual with dignity while encouraging confidence, independence, and personal growth.
Keran enjoys walking, exploring new places, and participating in interactive activities.
