Occupational Therapist
(Sydney, Merrylands)
Gerald utilises a combination of occupational rehabilitation, adaptive techniques, and emotional support with clients. He is able to provide training for daily living activities, motor skill and mental health interventions, cognitive rehabilitation and executive functioning, techniques for using assistive technology, and help to regain independence in self-care tasks, among others.
Gerald is an Occupational Therapist based in Sydney. He has previous experience supporting NDIS participants and workers compensation clients across their lifespans, including paediatric, adult, and older adult caseloads.
Gerald particularly enjoys working with adults and supporting people to build skills that improve independence and quality of daily life. Gerald was drawn to occupational therapy because of its holistic approach to health and its focus on helping people participate in the activities that matter to them.
He has experience supporting clients with presentations including autism, global developmental delay, stroke, intellectual disability, and mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and schizophrenia.
In his work, Gerald values practical progress and meaningful outcomes, whether that involves building mobility, daily living, self-care, cognitive, or functional independence skills.
