Lynette works collaboratively with clients, creating space for them to tell their story while building practical tools for safety, grounding, confidence, and recovery. Her approach is informed by trauma-focused practice, reflective listening, and a belief in empowering clients to shape the lives they want to live.
Lynette is a Psychologist and Behaviour Support Practitioner working across Sydney and Wollongong. Lynette has over two decades of experience across counselling, education, corporate, school, private practice, and clinical settings. She began her professional life as a counsellor and adult group educator before returning to university to train as a psychologist, strengthening the theoretical, assessment, and critical thinking foundations that continue to inform her work today.
Lynette has worked across the lifespan and has a particular interest in supporting children and adolescents. Her clinical focus includes trauma, complex trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. She is committed to ongoing learning and to working collaboratively with clients, empowering them to shape safe, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
In addition to her role as psychologist and behaviour support practitioner, Lynette also serves DFS as Clinical Director, providing mentoring, advice, communication support, and clinical oversight to the multidisciplinary team.
