Social Worker / Behaviour Support Practitioner

Within her social work practice Chloe adopts a person-centred approach which ensures that the client is the expert in their own life, while building their capacity and autonomy. Within behaviour support, Chloe actively listens to the client, works with them, their supports and stakeholders to determine what is the motivation behind their behaviours of concern, while implementing therapeutic strategies to assist the client in overcoming them.
Chloe is a behaviour support practitioner and social worker for Direct Focus Solutions who is based in our Wollongong clinic. She maintains an ongoing interest in researching treatment options and strategies for women with Complex PTSD, personality disorders, understanding misdiagnosis and differential diagnoses.
As a social worker, Chloe is able to provide trauma-informed care. Within behaviour supports, Chloe performs systemic reviews and interventions in relation to client behaviour.
Chloe has completed a master’s degree in social work. She previously obtained a certificate and diploma in community service work. She is an accredited behaviour support practitioner with experience with complex cases.
