Ritika’s practice is child and family centred, with her techniques including cognitive orientation to daily occupational performance (CO-OP) approaches, play-based interventions, sensory integration strategies, person-environmental-occupational (PEO) models, and adhering to a strengths-based and goal-oriented approaches.
Ritika is an Occupational Therapist with over 7 years of experience, particularly within paediatrics. Having achieved a Master of Occupational Therapy, she has recently relocated to Australia from India in order to further her professional practice.
Ritika’s practice involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and teachers across home, clinic, school, and community settings to support children. She has previously worked with children with Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders, and is highly motivated to help them achieve their goals and celebrate their successes. Ritika is particularly skilled at interacting with children through fun, creative, and engaging activities that help them grow and learn.
